Ray Charles
was born in Albany, Georgia. He wasn’t born whit his adversity, Ray started to
lose his sight when he was five years old, and when he was seven, he was completely
blind. Ray went to a Georgia’s school, and started to learn music, classic
music, but he prefers jazz and blues. When Ray was ten, his father died, three
years later his mother died too.
He continued to learn music, Ray Charles play and sung whit a lot of jazz and blues bands. When he was in Orlando, Florida, he thought about create he’s own band, but Ray couldn’t go to a big city, because of that he went to Seattle and started to play. Ray started to got fame, and won a lot of awards, Gram, and everybody loves his voice. He was a big singer of soul music. The most incredible thing about him is because he can’t see but he can play the piano, and that adversity didn’t stop him to do what he liked. We can learn whit him that we don’t need to see to do extraordinary things. After Ray’s death, they put a star on the Fame Street, and made a lot of tributes, like a statue.
